In this one, rubbing alcohol is poured into a container, and Q-tips are placed in the alcohol. All acne ulcerations are then broken and squeezed. After this, the Q-tip with alcohol on it is now wiped across each acne ulceration. This is very agonizing. This is done in a scheme to break the lesion, sterilise it, and make it dry out and heal. This is a bad misconception. Breaking acne ruptures only makes them worse and may cause scar tissue. Home-made treatments obviously do no good when it comes to acne.
